Are there ATMs in Suvarnabhumi Airport before the Visa on Arrival (VOA) booths?

I saw on Tripadvisor that there are ATMs located in Swampy before the VOA immigration booths. I've never taken much notice but with the current 'show funds' hoop we have to jump through I was wondering if anyone knows of a K Bank bank-book update ATM in that area.

An updated balance should keep them happy.

Cheers.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The conversation discusses the availability of ATMs at Suvarnabhumi Airport, specifically before the Visa on Arrival immigration booths. While there were ATMs in the past, particularly from SCB, recent comments suggest there are no ATMs airside or bank-book updating machines before stamping in at either airport. When entering Thailand, travelers are advised to show cash if asked for funds, rather than bank statements.

There were definitely atm's airside a few years back, but they might not be there anymore. SCB had a few atm's airside. But again, I haven't seen them in some time, but they were definitely there as recent as two years ago.

The way it works is IF you must show proof of financials at a thai consulate you show bank statements NOT cash

AND

If you show proof of funds when entering the country you show cash ..

ATMs are only on the departure airside.

Just going by what I saw on Tripadvisor.

100% there are no ATM machines airside.

If they ask to see funds then they usually want to see cash at airports/land borders.

AFAIK there are no ATM's before you stamp in at either airport. This would lead me to believe that there are no bank book updating machines there either.

The people who were asked to show funds couldn't show a bank account balance. When they ask for funds they want to see cash in baht or the equivalent in a foreign currency.
