Hi,

I have a question regarding the 12 month non-O retirement visa extension. My 2 month bank deposit period coincides with my passport stamp in the new year. Can I go into Div 1 in Bangkok before this date to get the extension? i.e. before the end of the 2 month period?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquires about applying for a 12-month non-O retirement visa extension before completing the required 2-month bank deposit period. Comments indicate that the 800,000 baht must be in a Thai bank account under the applicant's name for the full 2 months prior to applying for the extension.

Did you maintain the 400k for the year (and 800k for the first 3 months of this extension)?

Nope, you cannot ๐Ÿ™

The seasoning for banked money method on retirement extensions is "the 800K baht must be seasoned in a thai bank account in your name only for 2 months on the date you apply for the extension. <- That's 2 months date to date.

That means until you actually have the funds in the account for the full 2 months you can't apply for the extension of stay
