I'm applying for a dependant dtv for my kids in Taipei using a physical form. As my children are only 5 and 10, do they need to sign the application form or will my signature be enough. Thank you

My daughter has arrived in Chiangrai with her 16 month old twin boys they all have there own separate passports they are staying on visitors visa for 30 days but wants to extend this for another 30 days. I guess she can pay the 1,900 baht to buy the 30 day extension does anyone know if she will also have pay 1900 baht each for the 2 boys?

Hi ,

Just wondering if anyone has experienced this and has any advice.

Myself and my partner have 4 children in Phuket age 15, 10, 3 and 1 they are all at school except the 1 year old.

We have just renewed our visas for a year. the 3 children who are in school are on education visas and myself and my partner are on non O (guardian) visas , my 1 year old came to thialand on a non O visa the same as myself and my partner. However immigration is saying she needs an education visa but she's only 1 and not in school?

Several people have said that she doesn't need a visa at all and not to worry until she goes to school.

I just don't want in a year's time she has to leave as she overstayed her visa

Any advice is welcome as I'm not sure what to do 🥺

Hi. Thank you in advance for any help you can provide.

My kids (13, 10, 9 years old) arrived into Thailand on a 60 day TR visa. Stamp in passport is until Aug 15. We are in Bangkok.

1. Do they have to be present at the Immigration office for the extention application, or can I do it for them?

2. Extention application has to be done at the main immigration in Chaeng Wattana?

3. Until what time are applications accepted? Does the immigration office tend to get busier in the mornings or afternoons?

4. Will we get this first extention right away or will we have to come back another day to pick it up?

Thank you again.

Can anybody advise... applying for 60 day Tourist Visa for 3 children, however 2 questions require me to upload proof of their income, and to upload evidence of an individual we are staying with in Thailand, but we are staying in a hotel. If I do not upload something I cannot proceed to the final stage...? 🤔

Hi. I heard that if parents have done the 90 days reporting to the immigration, accompanied child under 15 year of age will not required to do that. Can someone enlighten me?

Sorry if stupid question but does my daughter have to be present when I go to extend her ED visa? Or can I do without her there? She’d normally be in school obviously.

Thanks in advance

Goodmorning does the 90 reporting count from the entry or the extension of stay if the latter is done later? Is this to be done for children as well? I am on non immigrant o visa based on children education in Bangkok thanks

Just a quick update, just got back from Penang, Jim Tachinamurthy was very helpful as we were traveling with 2 small children, he took care of everything. Also its true children under 14 don't need visas, we applied for the 60 day everything went smoothly. Also my daughters passport was about 8 days over the 6 month cut off, Penang immigration officer mentioned it but did not hold or stop us, and we flew into DMK and had no problems on our transfer to domestic flights. I would like to thank everyone that helped my family and I through Thai visa advice page! Thank you!!
