Goodmorning does the 90 reporting count from the entry or the extension of stay if the latter is done later? Is this to be done for children as well? I am on non immigrant o visa based on children education in Bangkok thanks

TLDR : Answer Summary
In Thailand, the 90-day reporting for non-immigrant O visa holders is counted from the entry date into the country, not from the extension of stay. This rule applies to children as well, although there seem to be no fines for children regarding overstay or failure to report. Many expats report that they personally handle the 90-day reporting for themselves, but often do not do it for their young children without facing any issues from immigration.

Just adding on this post, as I had not read the notice in my passport, the extension of temporary stay is considered as notification of residence and the next one has to be done after 90 days from that. Doesn’t say anything about any exemption for children though so I suppose it has to be done.
I don't bother doing 90 day reporting for my 3 year old son, although I do it for myself and my wife. Immigration have never said anything or suggested I should be doing it for him (he and my wife have Extensions piggy-backing on my work Extension). I doubt he could be fined anyway.
