Hi Everyone, i have been told one of the best places to get a 1 entry tourist visa is in Laos, i am currently on a multi entry visa that will end on 23rd September which is the final extension date, i will holiday in Laos for about 2 weeks then apply for a 1 entry visa which would take me until after new year when i need to go back to the UK, do you think i will have any problems with getting this visa?.
Also i would like to take my girlfriend and child (both Thai) my girlfriend has a passport so no problem there, but the 6 year old kid has no passport or ID card, just the ID they receive when they are born, what are the requirements for a 6 year old child to get into Laos?
Any help as always much appreciated, thank you in advance as always.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The post discusses an individual's plan to apply for a single entry tourist visa for Thailand while in Laos, following the expiration of their multi-entry visa. They express concerns about the application process and seek advice regarding the entry requirements for their 6-year-old child, who does not have a passport or ID card, only a birth ID. One comment suggests that proper documentation will ensure a smooth visa application.
If you prepare the required documents it will be no problem to get the Single Entry Tourist Visa for Thailand. With the second part we can not help you, you have to search for a Laos Visa advice page or website.
