Just a quick update, just got back from Penang, Jim Tachinamurthy was very helpful as we were traveling with 2 small children, he took care of everything. Also its true children under 14 don't need visas, we applied for the 60 day everything went smoothly. Also my daughters passport was about 8 days over the 6 month cut off, Penang immigration officer mentioned it but did not hold or stop us, and we flew into DMK and had no problems on our transfer to domestic flights. I would like to thank everyone that helped my family and I through Thai visa advice page! Thank you!!
TLDR : Answer Summary
A user shares their recent travel experience to Thailand with two small children and confirms that children under 14 do not require visas. They applied for a 60-day visa, and their travel went smoothly despite one child's passport being slightly over the 6-month validity requirement. The involved immigration officer did not hinder their travel, and they express gratitude for the assistance received through the Thai visa advice community.
