Hi guys just found out the hard way that if someone has any details on your UK passport they can cancel it without your knowledge. Therefore UK passport holders you are exposed when working in thailand your employer can screw you at any point by cancelling your PASSPORT. Becareful on who you work for as its perfectly legal for them to call Her majestys passport office and cancel your passport acting like you. Thank you England. I also had a chat with the operator at the HMPO he said there is nothing the UK Gov can do to help you and told me that their job is to only cancel passports. Please fellow Brits this is not a scam its reality and it can happen to you watch your backs as the guy who screwed me was a Brit.
