TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is inquiring about booking flight tickets for a trip to Thailand on a student visa. There are mixed responses regarding the necessity of a return ticket, with one comment suggesting that a one-way ticket might be acceptable if the visa has been obtained beforehand, while another warns that airlines usually require a return ticket due to visa expiration dates.

If you have a non-ED visa that you purchased from a Thai embassy before you travel, a one-way ticket should be fine.
