The discussion focuses on finding affordable solutions for mock onward flights that travelers might need for visa purposes. Various methods and apps are suggested, including using services like FlightGen for generating e-tickets and onwardticket.com for legit tickets. Participants share personal experiences regarding the reliability of these services and discuss the feasibility of booking and canceling flights with US airlines for similar temporary documentation.
All US airlines plus Air Canada have free cancellation within 24 hrs of booking. Book a flight, print itinerary, then cancel. Your CC won't even be charged so no waiting for refund.
yes they charge your card but the charge sits in pending for the 24 hour window to pass. When you cancel the flight the initial cc charge is withdrawn. There is no waiting for refund. It's by design (otherwise AC would have to pay the CC fee, this way they don't). Have done it.
I got the app and watched their YouTube - the few comments on the YouTube were that it was a scam and they had all paid but not got the itinerary. Do you use the service including pay or just go so far and screen shot? Cheers
yea so whenever I’ve needed proof of onward travel I go to Qatar airlines website. Go thru the booking process like normal and when it comes to time to pay just pay $10 for the booking on hold. They send you a confirmation that looks similar to a flight booking
