that the most unfair unsense and stupid that many embassy do , ask u for paid tickets when u don't have the visa yet , better u just try to get a booking without pay it , thai airways is one that u can make a booking and pending the payment , may be there are another ones but i can not find ,not easy to find that....

Need to check with your embassy where you are applying, when i came through in July was COE first then tickets and ASQ then visa. Two weeks later it changed and has now changed again.

Make sure it's a fully flexible/refundable ticket just in case ... some hotels want full payment up front, some will take a deposit (5000 THB?) and the balance on check in.

Make sure you get your flight with an airline that does not charge for changes because we are finding issues with hotels being full so you almost have to get your hotel confirmed then change your ticket but prices are really good right now we got two tickets from America for $2,200 a week out
