I’ve just looked at my hubbys passport and I can see it’s got a little damage from coffee… do you think it will be okay or will I have to get a replacement?

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user is concerned about a coffee-stained passport belonging to her husband and whether it would still be acceptable for travel and immigration purposes. Responses varied, with some suggesting that minor damage is generally not a problem unless it affects the ID page or critical data, while others recommended replacing it if possible to avoid potential issues with border agents.
the critical part is the foto and data page. there looking for tampering. A small brown stain is not a problem

Mine went in a river. Airport asked what happened, I told them. No problem.

A little coffee won't hurt, as long as it didn't corrupt the magnetic strip. Just be lucky your young kids didn't get ahold of it to make it look pretty...lolol
I think there is another artist in the Family... ;-)

Should be fine. What you don't want is any torn pages or other damage like that.

It's the discretion of the border agent, but mine looks like shit and I've had no problems all over the world. As long as it's not on the ID page I think you'll be ok.

If you have time change passport as they can refuse if damaged

It'll be fine. Mine literally looks like it's been through a washing machine. Occasionally eVisa won't read it.. then it's done manually.

The cover? No problem

If possible do try to replace.
