This is more laundry related than visa related, so please delete if not applicable. My (new) South African passport has just been through a wash cycle. The only visa and stamps in the passport are for the current year. The actual identification pages aren't damaged at all, but as is to be expected, there is some smudging of the ink on my various stamps. My extension of stay, TM 30 and receipt of 90 day notification are all still totally legible. Would I still be able to use this passport, or do I have to apply for ANOTHER new one?
TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquires if a South African passport that has gone through a wash cycle can still be used, noting that while some visa stamps are smudged, the identification pages are intact and legible.
