On a TM8 form is there any set amount of days before you travel to get the stamp?

I know one can get them at the airport on departure, but I need to go to immigration

in the next few days and was wondering about doing the TM47 and TM 8 at same time.

I’ll be flying 20 days after my TM 47 check in.

Thanks for your help appreciate the site.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The TM8 form can be processed before your travel, allowing you to obtain the re-entry permit at your convenience. It is not restricted to a specific number of days before departure, so you can handle both TM8 and TM47 at the same time before your flight.
