Hi all, wondering what the protocol is for 90 day report, my year extension of stay based on employment has been created on my 90th day in the Kingdom.

Is the TM47 still necessary or not?

Thanks in advance.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The individual is inquiring about the necessity of the TM47 form after receiving an extension of stay based on employment, specifically within the context of the 90-day reporting requirement in Thailand. According to a community reply, while the extension has been granted, self-reporting is still required within 7 days after the 90th day in the country to avoid fines.

You sat down in the Immigration office, they created your Extension of Stay based on working inside Thailand and you know you are 90 days inside Thailand, but was thinking Thai visa advise is the place to ask. You have/had 7 days after this 90th day to report your self, if it is longer ago the fine is 2.000 Thb.

okay, if this is your first Extension of Stay, you will get a paper like this in your passport for your next 90 day report

actually I’m still waiting in the queue, the staff member with me said it’s not necessary but I’m not sure, was looking for some guidance before making a faux pas.
