Need experience of people who applied for a visa using soft power. And who indicated themselves as ⚠️ unemployed. Please tell me, what source of income did you provide, in addition to a bank statement? I sent statements to the Ho Chi Minh consulate that I have almost 1 million baht in my accounts, but they are not satisfied with this. They ask, what is my other monthly income and how will I support myself for 5 years? What else did you send? A photo of cash, a scan of a crypto wallet? Even 1 million baht per person is not enough for them 🙈

TLDR : Answer Summary
The post asks for advice from those who have applied for a Thai visa using 'soft power' while indicating themselves as unemployed. The author mentions having nearly 1 million baht in their bank account but states that the consulate is not satisfied and requests information on other sources of monthly income for a duration of five years. Community comments provide varied experiences and suggestions, including submitting additional financial proof such as a cover letter explaining the source of funds, potential remote work income, and the value of cash over crypto assets.
You're not telling us how you make income, are you completely retired, do you have a pension, how do you make money? Million baht isn't going to last you 5 years.
You should have put investor instead of unemployed. And then maybe you could show your crypto transactions etc. However, in Taiwan they told me crypto investing is not real. Had to explain basic crypto stuff for one hour and how many millionaires were born that way. Showing crypto transactions converting it to Taiwan dollars on a currency calculator 😂.
Write a short explanation that you will use the million bath to fund your stay, and you plan obtain more money through consulting remotely when needed.
My clients also the people who are unemployed always gets approved this way
