I am currently in the process of applying for a Non-O retirement visa at the Thai consulate in Canada.

However, I am encountering difficulty in meeting one of the requirements, specifically obtaining health insurance.

Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance. :)

No such thing as an international license. It's called an international driving permit. (IDP)

Why not apply it in here and no need for insurance?

thanks for sharing your thoughts. If not mistaken, it’s still needed. Moreover, It’s enough to show bank statements here in Canada.

"you can show monthly income of at least THB 65,000 certified by your embassy here and health insurance is not required but the applicant must have applied within Thailand for the visa to be exempt from insurance requirement." Not sure because I'm not retired but maybe someone knows🙏
