TM30 query!

I am currently leasing a place on Ko Lanta. I wanted to get a residency certificate, so I brought the screenshot of the TM30 page I got from my landlord

The screenshot said "check-in date from" 05.08, "check-in date to" 10.08.

I didn't think too much of it and went to Immigration Office yesterday. The officer told me that the screenshot is not a proof, because it says I checked out on 10.08, and I need a new TM30. He didn't want to check in system himself.

My landlord says that I am in the system properly, but the TM30 website requires to put in proper check-in date, and the second date needs to be less than 7 days apart. And she is unable to make a better screenshot.

I am a little puzzled on what to do now. I am thinking of trying again, this time also bringing a lease agreement and hoping to meet a different officer, but it's 2h ride, which in this weather is not much fun. But perhaps the officer was right, and something is amiss?

REPOST: Self File TM-30 BANGKOK ONLY.

This is the way you need to fill out the TM30 form if you are filing with NO documentation from your land lord

Your name goes at the top of the form, your address goes under it, then your address AGAIN as the address where the foreigner lives.

In the blank area at the bottom left hand side of the piece that they will tear off and give back to you write your address again.

On the second page (the table) put all your information.

You sign BOTH forms on the signature lines. Print the forms correctly. the first page is portrait orientation and second page is landscape orientation :O

Make copies of;

-lease

-data page of your passport

-visa (if you have one)

-extension (if you have one)

-entry stamp

-TM6 departure card

sign the copies of your passport stuff.

This is a way to file a TM30 in BANGKOK without any information from your land lord at all. <- (meaning you don't need their i/d, their house book listing, a power of attorney form with the 10 baht in tax stamps).

AFAIK: this ONLY works in Bangkok but I can say with 100% accuracy that it does work (y)

EDITED: to make some small changes to how you fill out the form so you have to spend the least time in front of the officers as you can ;)

Advice needed:

I rent a home in Chiang Mai but my landlord lives in Bangkok. I'm planning a trip outside Thailand and a TM30 will need to be submitted by the landlord upon my return.

Question: can I complete the paperwork on his behalf and take it to immigration in order to save him the trouble of having to travel to CM? I presume I will need a copy of his property deed and the rental contract. Has anyone been in a similar situation?
