TLDR : Answer Summary
The individual is facing a situation where they are living in a rental property that is under their partner's name. The landlord is unwilling to officially acknowledge their residence because they did not intend for a foreigner to inhabit the property. A suggested course of action is to visit the immigration office with a copy of the lease to explore possible solutions.

@Syed ******
, you're on your own,

I see a trip to the immigration office with a copy of your lease (no matter whose name it's in) to see what you might be able to do.

Good Luck (y)
