TM30 query!

I am currently leasing a place on Ko Lanta. I wanted to get a residency certificate, so I brought the screenshot of the TM30 page I got from my landlord

The screenshot said "check-in date from" 05.08, "check-in date to" 10.08.

I didn't think too much of it and went to Immigration Office yesterday. The officer told me that the screenshot is not a proof, because it says I checked out on 10.08, and I need a new TM30. He didn't want to check in system himself.

My landlord says that I am in the system properly, but the TM30 website requires to put in proper check-in date, and the second date needs to be less than 7 days apart. And she is unable to make a better screenshot.

I am a little puzzled on what to do now. I am thinking of trying again, this time also bringing a lease agreement and hoping to meet a different officer, but it's 2h ride, which in this weather is not much fun. But perhaps the officer was right, and something is amiss?

It appears as if the Thailand Pass application form (at least on my smartphone, site would come up at all on my laptop) has several design problems...

1. One can't go back a page nor save the file to be continued later. Despite there being other hassles, Tanzania visa application form Immigration permits this

2. Vaccination certificate presumes such a document from one's home country includes one's passport number. In my home province of Alberta in Canada this is not the case. And I question how many countries do this - maybe national ID number, but we don't have that either.

It also presumes one has two separate documents for two doses of vaccination (our documents join the two), plus another one with a QR code. Well guess what, my home province has had three different versions in 3 months, and only two of them have QR codes.

I did ask my doctor to sign a document with every tidbit of information other than my blood type and zodiac sign. But no QR code. QR code has no passport #. Could this be any more complicated?

3. It asks for everything at once, but one doesn't get PCR test results until often the same day of travel (because it can take 24-48 hours to get results but it has to be taken no earlier than 72 hours before)

It is like a juggling act at frenetic speed figuring out strategy. Strikes me as chaotic and bureaucratic. And it might not even work. Or am I mental case (soon becoming one with the concentration and time this is taking). Imagine if I also had a job and family!

Additionally, I read it would take seven days, but apparently what was meant was seven working days to process all the documents, *after* one has one's ASQ reservation.

I have already wasted on $173 PCR test because I thought I could just jump on a plane with proof of vaccination. Now I am discovering that it is much slower and more complicated than I expected. Can't do it too soon. Can't do it too late. It's like applying to study at university just to cross a border. Reminds me of Cambodia where they want black ink instead of red ink. Etc etc.

No wonder most people are staying home.
