What are the options for accommodation near the Laos immigration after crossing from Sop Ruak by ferry?

I was wondering if anyone has experience with crossing into Laos from Sop Ruak on the ferry? .... Also.... hotel once into Laos. Only staying as long as I need to satisfy requirements to return to Sop Ruak.. I will stop and chat with Thai immigration prior to the ferry.. Looking at google earth view... not much as to hotels close to the Laos immigration building.. helpful thoughts please.... and thank you...
