Hello, has anybody submitted bank account history in a language other than English ? My bank only allow me to download statements in Polish.

I remember several years ago the Thai embassy requested a bank statement in English when I applied for a tourist visa. Do I need to translate balance and transaction history ?

I'm currently on a 30day visa exempt stamp and I would like to get on a trailing Non-O dependent visa based on foreigner/foreigner marriage here within Bangkok. Our marriage certificate is in Polish. If I understand correctly, does it mean I have to get it translated into English AND THEN Thai AND THEN take it to the MFA here? Or can I just go to the Polish Embassy and get it translated directly into Thai so that I can skip the MFA part?

I'm just confused because in the requirements it says it needs to be translated into English. But in order for it to be legalized by the Thai MFA, it needs to be in Thai.

Thanks for your insight!

Additional note: The marriage certificate is already legalized by the Polish MFA and Thai Embassy in Warsaw. It's just that it's all still in Polish.

For whom ever this may be helpful.

Birth Certificate stamp AFTER it has been translated from Thai to English.

Went to The Department of Consular Affairs in CW. The process is as follows.

Step one: Fill in attached form.

Step two: Take your documents to the "check your documents" counter. This is where you get your Q number.

A copy of every page in my passport was required (with or without the stamp it didn't matter). Original translation and copy of Thai birth certificate.

Step three: Wait for your q number to be called and pay.

PS: Note the different services available.

Feel free to ask any questions here. So the information can be in one place.

The time is coming up to extend my visa based on retirement. My wife is not yet 50, so she piggybacks on my visa.

Once before when we presented our US marriage certificate, the immigration agent accepted my copy, but recommended getting a certified translation at (if I recall correctly) the Thai Embassy in Bangkok. Has anyone been through this process?

Thanks in advance!
