I have two questions regarding the bank statements:
- Translation: Saw that most people translated their own bank statements. I am in touch with a cooking school and they said to have the statements translated by a certified translation agency (I know that it is recommended on the website of the Thai embassy). As it's rather expensive, I thought of going the route like most people - translating myself. What is the overall recommendation?
- Date: How recent should the statements be? I read 7 days and elsewhere 3 days...
Thank you for your support!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking advice on whether to translate their bank statements using a certified agency, as recommended by the Thai embassy, or to translate them personally like many others do. They also want clarification on how recent the bank statements need to be, with conflicting information encountered about the timeframe.
