I am applying for a DTV visa. Does the work contract I am attaching need to be notarized if it is in a language other than English, or can I translate it myself without any issues?
Thank you so much!

TLDR : Answer Summary
When applying for a DTV visa, self-translating your work contract is generally acceptable, and notarization is typically not required, as confirmed by users in the DTV community. It's advisable to check the embassy's website for specific language requirements.
I self translated my work contract and bank statements for approval at Taipei. Notarisation was not required. If you check the DTV FB group thread, you can see many have done similar for approval at various embassies.

Normally the embassy website will mention language requirements for visa applications.
