Just a report:
Got my 3rd year extension for retirement at Nakhon Ratchasima/Korat imm. office. However this year a bit more syrupy, I was in and out in one and a half hour. Immediately at the entrance of the main building I bounced to some tables and a queue of people wating to let a young volunteer lady check the documents. Before it where at least 3 or 4 people to do that. The lady only told me to sign all documents and put my phonenumber on the TM7.
Then she gave me 3 forms ? A bit strange for me, but now I understood why all those people where writing at those tables. Also there was a pot of glue to stick your pass photo on the TM7 yourself. One form was the handout list you had to sign ? One form was a kind of declaration of income (Although I had the Dutch affidavit?) where I had to put all kind of data such as address while this is already on the TM7. And one form was that I got fined or prosecuted if I overstayed. Also all kind of data to fill in with address again. Then let the volunteer lady check again, so back in the queue.
I just copied the whole blue housebook of my girlfriend as I had done other years but now I had to copy only the relevant pages in a certain sequence. But this time it was okay. Pfff a bit nitpick...
Also all diciplines, except 90 day notification, where now in the main building. Re-entry permit, shortstay visa, longstay visa/extension, Certificate of Residence, TM 30 etc. Before some diciplines where separate.
Pity, also there more and more bureaucracy.
Oh, TM30 I just did not ask anything and they told me nothing. Still had my TM30 receipt in my passport from the first time 2 years ago. This although I went to BKK and Cha Am several times. Well, up to next year extension.
