Good day. Has anyone traveled from Thailand to Laos recently ? Have you done E-visa or visa on arrival in Laos ? Can you please recommend a reliable company that can do all this stuff for you.

It’s been a couple of years since I was there. When you go through Immigration you can buy a Visa . I was told in advance to bring American dollars as that’s what they accepted. When I stood in line all prices were in Dollars and that’s what everybody ahead of me was using. This was Luang Prabang. Different nationalities paid different prices.

Assuming you mean Visa On Arrival for LAOS. You just do this at the border as you enter Laos. Can't recall the cost, but it's not expensive. An agent can't physically enter Laos on your behalf. It has to be you. I know some people believe agents can do anything, but reality is somewhat different!

How would someone do visa on arrival for you? You have to arrive to do it.

And why would you use an agent to apply for an e-visa? They are just going to say "send me these documents" and then upload them to the application, just like you could have done. Except they are going to charge you for it.
