TLDR : Answer Summary
Several users recommend various options for a Laos visa run, including contacting Mee Suk travel for assistance, or opting for a DIY approach which involves taking a minibus from Udon Thani to the Friendship Bridge for a lower cost. It's noted that you might not need an agent since you can handle the process personally by traveling to the Laos consulate. Users advise preparing $40 USD in cash for the visa fee.

No need for a service since you'll still have to go to the consulate in person. Flight or bus to Udon Thani/Nong Khai -> $1 Green air conditioned bus from the Laos immigration to Morning Market -> overpriced tuk tuk to your hotel. (Loca App is the Lao version of Uber). Bring $40 USD in crisp bills for your Laos visa
