Well the embassy told me otherwise so I will ask them again. Thx for advice. More research and trips to embassy in my future :)

no that's not the case. I don't have multiple entries and Cambodia embassy stated I can just go for an overnight. I've been researching for days and contacted the right people so it is the easiest option at this point. Just hella expensive

I've extensively researched going to Cambodia for one night and returning here on the visa exemption scheme with new Test and Go policies

All in all a one nighter will cost a minimum of $600 USD to $700 total

That's a budget of not staying in a hostel in Cambodia
