Similar posts have appeared over the last couple days. When I applied, the officer told me “make sure your name is spelled correctly because there have been a lot of people getting denied because they don’t spell their own name right.” I’m 99.99% sure I entered my name correctly. Thank god I saved the application before I submitted it, and looked back over everything. I found a mysterious error had appeared in the spelling of my name. Luckily I caught that.

Maybe your husband didn’t put a hyphen in, but it seems the website randomly messes up names for no reason. Example: last post I read, person got denied for using a zero instead of the letter O. I highly doubt they actually made that mistake on their own
