Would getting a multi entry re-entry permit fix my problem?

While at immigration I wasn’t given a choice in getting the re-entry permit, I was told flat out that I needed to buy / pay for one so I honestly don’t know how I could ask them to remove / cancel the re-entry permit. I was also told because it was single entry if I leave Thailand my spouse visa is canceled. Do I need to try and get a multi re-entry permit at immigration?

Thank you, was confused by the wording. What stamp would my spouse get at airport upon return. She came into Thailand on Non O at the same time as me and then extended using the trailing spouse. Her stamps and visa dates are the same as mine.

I’m very thankful and sorry to have to ask again but I’m having a disagreement with my spouse regarding the dates. Embassy stamp for visa shows 20 March 2024 valid until 19 March 2025. We arrived in Bangkok on March 30 with an expiration date of 14 March 2025 on airport stamp. Re Entry stamp from immigration is good until March 14 2025. I should leave anytime but come back after March 14th and before March 19th with insurance papers and I will get another year stamp. Correct? Many thanks. Does any of this affect my spouse and her Non O trailing spouse visa?

looking at my passport stamp I received at the airport it says 30 March 2024 and 14 March 2025

When I got the visa I paid for a multi entry visa at the embassy but when I went to Bangkok immigration the very first time they told me I needed to buy a re-entry stamp and asked what date I wanted to use. I admit I was very confused by this and didn’t ask questions and as it turned out I paid for a single re-entry permit instead of the multi.

Thank you very much and I do appreciate all your help. As you are involved in answering immigration questions every day I will take your advice over others. Thanks again.

unfortunately the US Embassy doesn’t provide affidavit of income. I’m getting conflicting information about having the bank account opened prior to getting the 90 day extension. On another site people are saying that I apply for the Non O in Bangkok, receive 90 day, open bank account, deposit money, wait two months for account seasoning and apply for 1 year extension which I believe is different then what you stated so I’m very confused.
