You go back to Immigration on the date specified and get stamped in, then it's done.

I entered on a reentry permit in August, 2022, with one day remaining and was stamped in at BKK for one day. Next day I flew to CNX and got my annual extension.

initial Non O requirements for Thai Family would be like usual extension requirements? 400k for 2 months and bank letter, marriage certificate copy etc.?

thank you Tod. So arrive as a tourist and do 90 day Non O for Thai Family then annual extension after 45 days. Great, thanks for all the advice.

thank you Ellie, if I don't make it back in time for my year extension stamp on 19th August (if a flight gets delayed or cancelled, for example) then have to enter on 30 day waiver, does Chiang Mai immigration let me apply again right away for a yearly Family (Spouse) extension if I immediately get bank letter, photos etc. right away and apply within those 30 days? No penalties for missing the first stamp other than losing that 1900 baht?

I have the bank letter ready but it does not list passport number and I use my ID card at bank
