30 exemption + one time more 30 days extension is the regular deal. Beyond that you have two options: 1) Hope for 60-day COVID extension to still be around by then (which would give you additional 60 days each time you can apply for it at an additional 1,900 baht), or look for a change of visa in-country to a more longer term option, like e.g. a) the ED Education Visa (language school or such) b) Non-Immigrant-O, like based on marriage, or if 50 or older, based on retirement.
In this case (for French citizens) only 2000 EUR balance on bank account. But that is not the point. The point is they demanding so many things for a simple tourist visa.
Was just an example screen shot I found using Google. E Visa not live in Germany, yet. Just planning ahead. So can someone from the countries where it is live already confirm such limitations?
Never said is was difficult. Freaking annoying is what it is. Why do they mix up requirements between visa application and certificate of entry? I neither want to have quarantine nor flights and such fully booked at the time of applying for visa only. Nor is it their business what my bank statement looks like for a simple tourist visa. IMHO.
