agree, a phone call to the thai embassy as mentioned for instance shouldn't be so hard to do for the management but unfortunately they won't. instead they suggested to split ways ... so my friend demanded a written cancellation of the contract and is looking for another club now. seems like he already found a new opportunity. fingers crossed that things will work out this time :)
thank you for your quick response. itโs a small family run club from the third division and it seems as they got a bit tired to have to deal with all the bureaucracy - so the management hasnโt been to helpful lately ๐
anyway thanks for your feedback. Much appreciated. I will tell my friend later today and also ask him to join this group so he can provide further information himself.
just a quick follow-up: got my stamp today. no proof of adress required. just an updated bank book and a new bank statement as well as a copy of the last one. plus the usual copies, picture and application for extension. and yes, I had to draw a map ๐
I hope so. Drawing a map is fine for me. I'm staying at a thai friends house and was glad everything was accepted last time when I showed her contract and a copy of her ID. Hopefully everything will go smooth as in the past. Thanks again for sharing your experience :)
thank you for the report. I plan to do the same tomorrow at CW and hopefully not need to deal with my place of residence again. had already the home visit after applying for the initial 90 days and thought this part wonโt be required for the extension. I guess I will find out tomorrow ๐
not since I stay at this place (3 years now). chaeng wattana never asked for anything when I used this adress for extensions and explained that Iโm staying at my friends house
