can you not do the retirement visa? It's much easier. I first attempted spousal visa. They needed so many papers but would not accept the documents because they were not translated. So I ended up just applying for the retirement visa. I had enough to keep 800 k in bank. They do not accept 65k monthly deposit because US will not verify anymore. I just extended for another year(my second).I am assuming you have a Thai wife. I got my non o based on visting family. 90 day. Report your address to immigration. Open your account ( I recommend Bangkok Bank) immediately with 800k baht. I would cushion it because I was getting 15 baht withdrawls.they were charging me 15 baht for texts. I had no idea why. ( do not let it go under 800k Because that 800k has to remain untouched , it resets when it falls below)Let it season for 60 days then you can extend for a year based on retirement. Go about 4 weeks before your visa expires get the list of documents that your provincial immigration will require. Get those docs together. ( copy of passport and all pages stamped. Copy of visa. Copy of bank statements etc , And head back to immigration. You will need to stop at bank on way to immigration to update your passbook and get a certificate of verification from bank that states your money has been there for the required time. You will make copies alot at immigration. Good Luck

I went to a hotel for a couple night twice. and did not do it when i got back. Today I did my 90 day report and extended my retirement visa. No problems on either. Samut Prakan office.

The retirement visa is so much easier. Tried the spousal visa at first. Documents needed translated. If you have your docs already translated then marriage visa has less financial requirement. I am lucky enough to have the 800k in my bank to not touch.

Some of the people here are just not very empathetic. I feel sorry for you people. Why attack people? Does this make you people happy? No wonder this world is falling apart. The guy is asing for solutions and you people want to attack. Get a life. Empathy is a virtue. God help you perfect people should you find yourself in a dire situation. Karma is a Bitch.
