ok great thanks. I think I am starting to understand it. So as long as I manage to open an account a couple of weeks before I am due to leave on the tourist visa,I can apply for a non o for 90 days ? I was understanding that I needed the funds in the bank for 2 months before I could apply for the non o . Thanks very helpful 🙏

hi , great post lots of good information.

Any advice for me. I am on a tourist visa 60 days with 30 extension . I have been here one 5 weeks. Still trying to open a bank account . If I get a bank account open and deposit the funds ,is there a way around me not having to leave to go out and come back ? Any advice appreciated 🙏😃

hi trying to obtain a retirement visa . Struggling to open bank account . Am on a TR visa been here 12 days . Would the normal way of going about retirement visa to leave and return if you run out of time for the funds to be in bank ? So say two months others say three ? Any advice appreciated.

I took 90 days insurance ,I think that was the required by the embassy although in the end I didn't use the embassy for the Thai pass.
