What do I need to apply for a DTV visa under medical treatment at the Vientiane embassy?

I have a Invisalign treatment here too and went to Vientianne before the DTV was out, they gave me a Non-O visa for 1 Year without a problem. But the Officials at the Airport and at Chaengwattana told me the medical treatment is only meant for long Hospital stays and not for dental treatment.
