I just tried to apply in Savannakhet, Laos, but ran into some issues. When I dropped off my documents, they informed me that they couldn’t review them immediately and asked me to return in two business days, with no guarantee that they would even process the application.
When I went back two days later, they returned my application because my business license wasn’t notarized. They also pointed out that the last three bank statements need to show a minimum balance of 500,000 THB, otherwise the application would be rejected.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user encountered difficulties while applying for a Thai visa in Savannakhet, Laos, including a delay in document review and eventual rejection due to a non-notarized business license and insufficient bank statements. Comments from the community emphasize strict notarization and financial requirements in this location, suggesting alternatives like Jakarta for easier processing.
Yeah Savannakhet and Vientiane are particular about the funds needing to be deposited for 3 months and the notarization of certain documents, especially the company registration or business license etc. Hence why I wouldn't recommend applying there.
