not even close. So many small shops in the village and they don't caring enough to make change. My local ATM gives 1000 baht bills. Rarely can someone make change. Cash is not king. A true expat would know that. QR is king

that is a crock of shit everyday people post about a different experience. It's never the same. And what is posted online doesn't mean shit. I loved how someone posted while back that health certificate was needed clearance of std and ot said syphilis. When has that ever been done. Just it says for many online criminal back ground . what ever you bring they will ask for something different. It's the games they love to play. If you bring 2 months then they will ask for 3 months and if the person behinds you brings 3 months they will ask for 6. It's the Thai way. Depends on color of your shirt and you will eat for lunch and of your blonde or brown hair. Get the point. Just be prepare for more than one visit

Remitly is way better wise. Look at the fees for wise. Remitly is instant. Debit card 2 dollar fee. Wise is over 20 dollars for debit and ACH 9 dollars with Wise. It's free to do the comparison online and wait when wise gives you a third party fee. That shit doesn't happen with remitly
