Can I buy and ride a motorcycle in Thailand with an International Driving Permit if I enter as a tourist?

You can use your IDL ..but as I found out it all depends what day it is when you get stopped by the police ...no matter what day it is they all say ...Cannot ...it Tues ...IDL not good on Tuesday...500 BAHT...or a 1,000 BAHT if he's taking his girl.out for food

I made.that mistake ...all because of a mistake in my bank....I had no choice ...but it made everything more difficult when I did my reports and renewal...so I had to leave the country for a year ...to let things calm down...and then got a new visa .

As my local drunken policeman said it all depends what day it is ...but its never valid on a Tuesday...because he was always outta money on a Tuesday...so he charged you 500

...when I looked at buying solar it was very expensive...due to the fact one Thai Family have the import rights ....how much was your system please

I had a visit from immigration ...and he asked for diesel money as his pickup was out of diesel!

I gave him 6 big Papaya and told him I had no money . He never came back after that .
