My condo owner issued the TM30 with no issue. Of course I told her I would require the TM30 as part of the lease agreement

as I understand it now the 1st year must be based on the 800k balance in a Thai bank.

However next year I hope to renew by showing monthly pension deposits from a foreign source every month exceeding the 65k minimum

I came with a tourist visit and had to find an agent to help me get the bank account opened. And he still did it wrong (funded and withdrew) the funds the same day)

I then transferred my own 800k into the account. I am hoping this does not cause me a problem next year when I renew.

things changed in March this year. government clamping down on the banks.

Makes no sense at all to require a bank account with 800k and not have a clear path to setting up an account.

i recently saw a post where a guy who had luggage with way too much. He put on all the clothes and gilled the lockets until his checked bagged passed. Crazy but apparently it worked.

Don’t know the exact figure, you may be able to search for it on their website. It will be a lot more then if you spend the 400 baht or so up front.

There are two of the lowest price purchase options.

1- get you 7kg carry on + 15 or 20kg checked

2- 7kg backpack + 7kg small luggage carryon. (No checked bag)

This is from memory so please double check the options

I did non-O visa in march. No criminal record or health insurance required

Use Wise, I just did the 800k transfer in March. Worked fine
