you can expect that for sure. It’s not much, my advice is just to be polite, pay how much they want, and you’ll have no problems 🙂

if pets look at all unwell they can quarantine them, but I don’t think it’s actually something they ever do

I don’t think sedation is allowed anymore because it can affect their breathing. You can buy tablets in most pet shops that help keep them calm 🙂

I flew London - Phuket with a cat and dog in the hold with Thai airways. They were absolutely fine and I think I was more stressed than they were. There’s a lot of paperwork to sort out and they may try to quarantine them on arrival, but we paid 2000 baht to avoid quarantine in true Thai style 🤣

I know I went to immigration to cancel the extension and he said to just go into Malaysia and come back again and my work permit and extension would be cancelled so to come back on visa on arrival 🤷🏼‍♀️ it worked anyway

I went to cancel my visa before and immigration told me just to cross the border, therefore cancelling my visa and work permit. I came back the next day on a visa on arrival and extended that, then got my new non B after that. People on here said I’d get fined 20,000 baht but I just done what immigration here told me to do and it was grand

I travelled London - Phuket with a cat and dog. They had to go in the hold unfortunately, it depends on size tho. We flew from London to Phuket because it was direct, then you could always get the stena to Dublin or Belfast 🙂
