that’s the same for a thai applying to U.K.

they don’t want to see lump sums of money going in just before an application and I would have thought the same for Thailand anyway

But I didn’t have to provide my flight tickets

I usually buy my ticket after I get my visa 😉

I don’t know about any minimum salary to get a job here

I only know of my options which are drugs rehab employment or teaching

To stay here on marriage I must earn X amount per month and X amount in the bank etc etc

My living is complicated but seems to pass quite a few rules which would fail for others so I’m fine with it how it is for me

it’s strange the embassy website says £1500 must be on account for three months and show that amount going in for three months

My bank balance was under that but I could demonstrate I had over £2500 per month going in so they were fine

When I emailed to ask the woman said as long as there is more than £1500 going in it will be fine

yes mate that’s why I’m doing it as all my friends know I’m happier here and the U.K. is going down the pan

Luckily I have a skill set I can bring and also can pay for a tefl course to open up even more doors

The benefits system has changed that much it is now considered better to be in work yet people can’t get work

It’s much more complicated than you realise

You wouldn’t believe how many of my friends say why don’t you move out to Thailand knowing that the U.K. is goosed to put it lightly

A Restaurant is more which I would look for going to in the long term
