the German Embassy has published on their website that they will NOT under NO circumstances issue the letter to you. They advice you to go on standby at the airport and get back to Germany ASAP

you may have to self-quarantaine yourself when arriving to the USA. You should check the websites of the US government or the IATA list of countries and their air traffic updated regulations

there are no more flights out of o Samui at this point, because Bangkok Airways has discontinued their service. You might be able to travel to Bangkok by VIP bus (Ferry & Bus) and Bangkok airport is still open and serving US routes

can one enter back into Thailand from Cambodia by land border Poi Pet ? Does one need to have the "small" medical "fit-for-walk" letter OR the "big" certificate stating one has completed a Covid19 test and is negative? Or is the border "factually" closed for foreigners?
