I’m ok with everything EXCEPT that 45,000+ ASQ hotel. Even the health insurance isn’t that bad because you can find cheaper if you don’t need a full year, or you can cancel later and get prorated refund.

most people that are trying to fly into Thailand now (or in the next few months) are for reasons other than sightseeing/vacation. Most are for work, school, or family reasons.

it’s my understanding that it’s a mandatory requirement to stay at the government ASQ hotel. There is no option to stay with family, or at your own house, condo, or other option.

yes agree...only problem is most of us have been...waiting and waiting. I’ve already booked and canceled 3 different flights to Thailand

Mine is about 100,000 baht.

Health insurance for 52 year old = 45,000

ASQ hotel at IBIS hotel= 50,000

Doctor visit, Health certificate, and Covid19 test = 5,000

Total = 100,000 baht
