In Chiang Mai there are to buildings at the IO you go to the first office where they check for your TM30 and after that you go to the "real" IO to get your visa stamp

My embassy sent this Document with an email when I asked about the letter for the Covid Extension. The IO where I was today want a stamp from my Embassy which I can only get in BKK

My friend was with me and he translated for me and clearly said they want a stamp. I also called the embassy in Chiang Mai afterwards and when I asked about this document they instantly told me that I will need a stamp but I can only get in in Bkk.

Thanks alot! I think the Idea with going to Chiang Mai and check into a Hotel will solve this issue. I don't know why they want it so bad :( I showed them the Email from my Embassy and that they told me to fill out the other document.

ok thank you :) the traveling to Bkk is for the stamp for this document แบบรับรองตนเพื่อขออนุญาตให้อยู่ในราชอาณาจักรเป็นการชั่วคราว ในช่วงโควิด-19 Affidavit for granting permission to temporarily stay in the kingdom during Covid-19. I was on a call with the embassy in Chiang Mai but they told me only the one in Bkk can give the stamp. I was asking about going to another IO because I have read that in Chiang Mai they don't ask for the Letter from Embassy, as this is my problem right now. My Embassy has the next free appointment for 1.june
