I am in Thailand on 30 day visa exempt, I already got the stamp for the next 30 days from the immigration office. I went to the immigration office today to get the covid extension but they want the letter from embassy. My embassy won't give it to me and said I can fill out this document " แบบรับรองตนเพื่อขออนุญาตให้อยู่ในราชอาณาจักรเป็นการชั่วคราว ในช่วงโควิด-19 Affidavit for granting permission to temporarily stay in the kingdom during Covid-19"

The problem is I can only get it in Bangkok and I checked for appointments and the first free will be on 1.june.. I will try to call them tomorrow and get an earlier appointment.

So my question is: in case it won't work, can I go to another IO where I won't need the letter from embassy? Like in chiang Mai. I am located in uttaradit
