if you dont have DL from your own country will need to take tests for motorbike or car license, because they are separate.

Go to the local DLT with medical certificate + residency certificate, your original DL if its in english or IDP or certified translation.

Even after full set of docs they will ask where have you been before. Going to Bangkok for extension doesn't sound bad after all. Next time have in mind how is it.

no you cannot, your tm30 must be signed and filled by house master/owner.

Usually blue book copy + copy id of the owner + signed proxy, signed tm30 by the owner and signed the list of guest all that you go and register, proxy must be issued for each of all mentioned in the second part (list of guests).

the responsibility is of the house master (owner) to register you but YOU need something from the immigration you pay the fine.
