@Stefan ******
I'm all finished now thanks.

The pleasing part is - I didn't need to go to Bangkok.

Update.

There is a foreign affairs department in Chiang Mai.

Looks like a new office.

It is in that huge exhibition area on highway 121 on the left if you are going clockwise.

In about the same area as the sports stadium.

Pardon me for the vague directions but if you need them I'm sure you will find your way and be so happy that you don't need to hang around in Bangkok just to get a document stamped.

There IS a foreign affairs office in Chiang Mai who will certify the document.

I found the foreign affairs in Chiang Mai

They say they will certify the translated copy today.

Yes, I must see what options they have. With Covid I was hoping they will have something like that to avoid me being in their space.

Thanks Will

All is going well with me.

Just trying to get out of going to Bangkok if I can.

@Paul ********
Thanks

I'll go to Bangkok rather than wait 3 weeks.

The Australian Embassy has been doing the Free to Marry paper by mail because of Covid.

Was hoping the certification thing had a similar arrangement now.

Do you mean - in Bangkok?

I was hoping not to need to go there.
