Yes, I know not difficult for people to do their own TM30 Registration. That was my point!

Not a matter of "dodgy". If you are renting from private owner (i.e. Apartment or Condo), more often than not, they don't do it for you.

30-day Extension is Free? I don't think so Brandon. 1900 Baht everywhere. Perhaps, you meant extra "convenience" fee, if you do it online (like the "convience fee" for Airport Re-Entry Stamp?)?

By law yes, but many don't especially private landlords. And, the "We" (Foreigners) suffer the consequences when you need something from Immig. Office.
