My pleasure and make sure you are carrying sufficient cash on arrival, as they mention in the link. Immigration may (although they rarely do) ask to see proof of funds on arrival. If you don't have it, you can be denied entry.

South African nationals have a very difficult time getting visas for this country as well.

Just usually they don't send out that email informing you of the visa-exempt option instead, rather nice of them I think.

Your visa was initially approved, then later denied and cancelled by a higher-up official. Nice they sent you an email informing you about arriving by Visa-Exempt.
