This doesn't sound like a great experience but I just want to recommend not to leave pets alone when it's more than a day. Surely they can eat by themselves but 1. Thailand is extremely hot and they could overheat 2. Anything like a fire or another earthquake could happen anytime and so no one could save your pets in this case 3. There's plenty of pet sitters who take pets to their own houses, so it's not a problem finding a pet sitter in Thailand.
Most people in acting work without a valid visa and that's a big problem here. I wish the government would support his foreign talents and the media industry by giving them a legit visa to be able to do their job legally. I hope someone will one day be setting an organism or doing some petition to get this done...
